CCAC has a proud exhibiting history, from its inception in 2013 until the closure of its Asna Square premises in early 2026. Whilst the centre is currently transitioning to a temporary space at No. 8 Kent St, there are plans afoot for an art trail and window display for the 2026 Carnival and Old Time Fair respectively. March Body Room: Ally Zlatar (U.K.) and James Hallinan (Ire): experiences of the
body as a site of mental illness, explored through painting
April Thaw: Jamie Ashforth (Canada/Ire): relationship of the body and
the environment through drawing
May Falling into Blue: paintings by Lesley Cox (West Cork)
June Reconnect: Cork Potters group exhibition. Participating Artists include Susan
Herlihy, Kate Standen, Sinead Fegan, Jim Kelleher, Jim Turner, Brendan
Ryan, Cillian Gibbons, Bernadette Tuite, Catherine Ryan, Mary O’Regan,
Martha Cashman, Charlie Mahon, Sara Roberts and Rosie Roccaforte
July Of Decades: Sinead Barrett and Camila Fanning (Ire): sound art, drawing,
printmaking and assemblage, dealing with memory and environment.
August Of Granite: ROGHA collective, a working collective of ten makers and artists
from South Armagh; work includes painting, woodturning, ceramics,
textiles, basketry, mixed media and sculptural glass, all inspired by and
produced within the Ring of Gullion
September Codes of Conduct: Alan Mongey (Dublin): postmodern sculpture and painting
dealing with issues of social conditioning and state surveillance
October Fall and Desperately seeking body: Kate Mc Sherry (Ire) and Amna Walayat
(Pakistan/Ire): two concurrent exhibitions exploring representations of the
female body in respect to cultures of shame and violence (Walayat), and in
contexts of radical affection, feminist theory, and queering the figure
(McSherry)
November Time and Process: Mark Beatty and Conor Wickham (Ire): drawings exploring
chaos theory and self-similarity

metaphors for identity, solitude, and place

May Where Light Falls: Kayla Martell (Wicklow) and Nikki Tait (West Cork):
sumptuous still life paintings (Martell) and intricate wood engravings (Tait)

March ‘Interconnections’: Aoife Nolan (Dublin), Johanna Legnar (Germany/Ire) and
Karolina Kaja Kant (Poland): collages (Nolan), graphics (Legnar) and photo
montages (Kant), dealing with issues of climate justice and human
connection
April Rooted Harmony: A group exhibition of paintings by CCAC resident
collective Clonakilty Artists Together (CAT): Jacinta Darragh, Karl Cullen,
Will Dahm, Helen Williams, Yvonne Ryves, Liz Price and Gary Swan
May Those Hours: Emma O’ Shaughnessy (West Cork): moody paintings of the
West Cork landscape
June More News from Nowhere: John Beasley: large scale prints of ocean
photographs taken over a twenty year period.
July Summer Members exhibition
August Ikigai – Happiness is in the Making: Jim Turner and Etain Hickey: the veteran
duo of ceramics in West Cork showcase a stunning range of ceramic
techniques.
September Birds, Beach and Brushstrokes: studio artist Will C Dahm (CAT collective)
presents a new body of landscape and bird paintings.
October Belonging: A touring exhibition, showcasing the work of refugee artists,
including: Victoria Kondratieva (Ukraine), Amna Walayat (Pakistan), Iqra
